Heating Systems | Heater Repair | Furnace RepairWhen the winter approaches and the temperature starts to drop, you need to have confidence in your heating system to keep you warm throughout the long, cold months. At ABA Appliance, we treat each different client as though they have a special situation to be solved, rather than using a cookie-cutter approach. Our heating services cover a wide range of HVAC services, and we understand that each homeowner and business owner has a different set of problems that they have to deal with. You have many choices for a heating system - we can help you educate yourself about each of these systems so that you can make the right choice for you, your home, and your family. If your heat isn't working, try the following:
Gas FurnacesGas furnaces are one of the most common appliances in modern homes. If you live in an area that offers natural gas, then you will probably have a meter and a regulator on the exterior of your home that measures how much natural gas you use each month. A majority of this will most likely be for your furnace. Gas heat is very dry - and very economical. Using a gas furnace means that your furnace will heat very quickly and burn cleanly. Of course, if you have a gas furnace, we highly recommend that you have a carbon monoxide detector so that you are safe from any malfunctions. Carbon monoxide - when undetected can cause serious health problems and even death. However, if you have a gas furnace and a carbon monoxide detector, you are safe to use one of the most popular ways to heat a residential building. Regular maintenance and seasonal inspections can ensure that your gas furnace is safe and operating normally. Electric FurnacesElectric furnaces are also a very efficient way to heat your home - they give constant, even heat. These systems don't use a flame to heat the air, but rather use a heat pump or a heating element with a blower. These types of furnaces are great for small and medium sized homes. While heat from an electric furnace may be a bit more expensive, it is also safer. Carbon monoxide will never be an issue from an electric furnace. Maintenance and Seasonal InspectionsThe team at ABA Appliance is very flexible for service and installation for any size and type of heating device. We also serve commercial heating as well as residential heating needs. We offer yearly heater maintenance, and will come out in the fall to complete a pre-season heating inspection. We'll check your furnace, make sure that everything is operating properly, and give you a detailed report on our findings. Don't forget that your furnace filter needs to be changed monthly to remain safe and efficient.
